Interior design is "the art or process of designing
the interior, often including the exterior, of a room
or building." An interior designer is someone who
coordinates and manages such projects. Interior
design is a multifaceted profession that includes
conceptual development, communicating with the
stakeholders of a project and the management
and execution of the design.
Our design services of consulting,
selecting and specifying interior
construction elements and furnishings
are billed hourly and quoted per project.
Larger commercial projects may be
billed based upon square footage in lieu of
hourly rates, since there tends to be more
repeated space allocations and functionality
in these larger buildings. Hourly charges
would also include site visits, material
tracking, re-selections, and installation of
furniture and furnishings. Although the
design fee can be estimated, it ultimately
depends on our clients’ needs and expectations.
